Main Duties and Responsibilities

  2. Daily Operational Support – Assisting in daily finance operations, addressing queries, and identifying recurring issues to help mitigate risks.
  3. Documentation & Knowledge Management – Supporting updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contributing to knowledge-sharing, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  4. Collaboration and Strategic Engagement – Working closely with cross-functional teams, adapting to new priorities, and supporting ad hoc tasks and projects when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or administration is required.
    • A Bachelor’s degree reduces the required experience to 2 years, while a Master’s degree adds 2 years of credit.
    • Experience in shared service centers or international organizations is considered an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in handling confidential data.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

Applicants must be nationals of Hungary, EU/Schengen countries, or hold valid long-term Hungarian residence and work permits. Temporary or sponsored visas will not be accepted.
