Programme Associate Role Summary
This position plays a dual role, supporting project implementation and research (50%) while also contributing to case management and field logistics (50%). Key Responsibilitie
Project Support & Research (50%)
- Collect, collate and analyse policy and operational data related to labour mobility, AVRR, CT and social inclusion.
- Support stakeholder engagement by distributing timely information to government partners, NGOs, UN agencies, private sector institutions, training institutes and IOM missions.
- Assist with crafting advocacy materials, policy briefs, presentations, and awareness reports for internal and external audiences.
- Actively liaise with local partners and community actors to promote positive dialogue around migration and inclusion.
- Track policy developments, trends and emerging issues in migration, providing intelligence to inform senior team advocacy strategies.
Case Management & Field Support (50%)
- Conduct migrant casework interviews, maintain detailed case files, coordinate services and ensure beneficiary protection throughout the assistance process.
- Manage digital and physical case files, including creation and tracking in IOM’s MiMOSA system, and ensure all beneficiary records are updated, stored and distributed accurately.
- Organise beneficiary travel logistics across departure, transit and arrival, including pre-departure briefings, escort documentation, airport coordination and medical or protection considerations.
- Coordinate within the IOM office structure (Programme & Operations units) and other missions, and support the Programme Manager with regular reporting.
- Conduct duty travel as required to support field interviews, airport operations and follow-up.
