UNDP Administrative Assistant (NPSA-4) – Mexico: Join A Global Mission Supporting International Cooperation and Sustainable Development
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has opened applications for the position of Administrative Assistant (Grade NPSA-4) based in Mexico, offering a valuable opportunity for professionals interested in public administration, international cooperation, and sustainable development. This full-time role is offered under a National Personnel Service Agreement (NPSA) for an initial six-month contract, with the possibility of contributing meaningfully to national and international development priorities.
This vacancy is part of UNDP’s work within the Governance Practice Area and falls under the Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, reflecting UNDP’s continued commitment to strengthening institutions, partnerships, and inclusive development across the region.
Organizational and Programme Context
The Administrative Assistant position is embedded within the Programa de Cooperación AMEXCID-PNUD (PROCAP), a strategic cooperation programme established in 2013 between UNDP and Agencia Mexicana de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AMEXCID). During its third phase (2019–2025), PROCAP has focused on aligning international development cooperation with Mexico’s National Development Plan 2019–2024, particularly the country’s commitment to conducting foreign policy in line with constitutional principles and domestic development priorities. Mexico’s role as a dual cooperation partner both a provider and recipient of international cooperation—positions AMEXCID and UNDP at the center of innovative and strategic development partnerships.
The programme supports AMEXCID’s institutional strengthening, national capacity development, and policy leadership in international cooperation, including South-South Cooperation, triangular cooperation, and partnerships with the private sector, academia, civil society, and multilateral and bilateral agencies.
