- On use of AI: the fundamental principles of UNICEF content creation must always fall within the framework of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. When considering a conceptual imagery project, the justification for AI creation must be clearly explained and justified over the benefit of documenting real world UNICEF programs and their participants. Conceptual projects, including those making use of AI, are not a substitute for documentary evidence and should never be used as a ‘quick fix’ in lieu of an investment in authentic content production.
