Key Responsibilities

- Programme Coordination – Lead the planning and management of unconditional and conditional cash transfers, ensuring activities align with government strategies and WFP operational standards.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to the role. Specific qualifications include:
- Education – Advanced degree in International Development, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, or related fields.
- Experience – At least five years of professional experience in humanitarian or development programming, with a focus on social protection, resilience building, cash-based transfers, or emergency response. Prior experience with government engagement and World Bank-funded initiatives is highly valued.
- Skills – Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills; proven capacity to manage complex programmes and multiple stakeholders.
- Languages – Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
